Durham Lake

Durham Lake Holiday Park is located at 109 Durham Road Upper, Norfolk, Inglewood 4388, at the base of Mount Taranaki .  This great central Taranaki destination is a 4 minute drive from Inglewood township, and 20 minute drive from New Plymouth township.

Durham Lake is just beautiful. Walkways have been made to be enjoyed by all. The mountain view from the park is just stunning. For the early risers on a still morning a reflection of Mount Taranaki can be seen in the lake. The lake is also enjoyed by the local wildlife including a friendly family of ducks.

There are three main access ways to the mountain. The closest access way to the mountain from Durhum Lake Holiday Park is from the Egmont National Park Visitor Centre, via Egmont Road (Turn off State Highway 3 between Egmont Village and Inglewood). This is a 23 minute drive away. The other two access ways are on the Stratford side of the mountain; the East Egmont plateau via Pembroke Road, Stratford, this is 29 minute drive away, and the Dawson Falls Visitor Centre, via Opunake Road and Manaia Road, this is a 38 minute drive from Durham Lake Holiday Park.

Pet Friendly

Durham Lake Holiday Park is pet friendly .  Dog owners are required to be respectful to other campers. Dogs must be on a leash at all times around the park.

Check-in and Check-out

Check-out time is 10am.

Check-in time is between 2pm and 9pm, or by prior arrangement with Durham Lake Holiday Park.
